Support from the Bomber Command Association

Amazing help towards the Centre and Lancaster restoration project

The Centre has been very fortunate to receive a donation from the Bomber Command Association as they sadly close down.  The Association has seen fit to donate £250,000 towards the Centre as we strive to continue the memory of RAF Bomber Command and all it achieved during World War Two.

We are eternally grateful to the Association and the funds will be put to good use to ensure the memory of Bomber Command lives on.

Roy Briggs flew on Lancasters as a Wireless Operator with 156 and 576 Squadrons during WW2.  To commemorate Roy and the kind support of the Bomber Command Association we have planted an oak tree and accompanying plaque.
