This tail art is exclusive to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre and is hand-painted on genuine skin taken from a Lancaster bomber based in Canada. The Skull & Crossbones on the rear turret of NX611 comes from the rear turret of the Halifax bomber in which Christopher Panton was killed in action in March 1944.
