RAFBF Air Show 7th August 2010

07 August 2010

Tickets for the air show FLY off the shelves!

A big THANK YOU to everyone that attended the air show on the 7th August!

It was a big success on the side of the organisation team and we have had some very nice feedback from some of the visitors.

The air show is our biggest annual event and 2010 saw our largest crowd to date.

The crowds flocked to see aircraft land and display at the Centre, aircraft included-

3 x P-51 Mustangs
Stearman
Harvard
Hurricane
Spitfire
Jackaroo
Chipmunks
Tiger Moth
Queen Bee
Cap 232
2 x RV-8
Yak-52
Fairchild Cornell
Taylor Titch
Auto gyro
The Swift Aerobatic Team
Twister Duo
Fokker S11
SF260
MS733

.....and ofcourse the large model aircraft.

The weather held out and although dull we managed to escape the rain.
With the biggest crowd we had ever held there was a great strain on the catering departments which will be remedied for next year but everything was busy right from the flight simulator to the static Hurricane and the furthest reaches of the trade stands.

Here's to another year..........2011 Air SHow here we come.  Planning has already begun and we are looking for some amazing display acts.....B-17 maybe......Seafire maybe......Corsair perhaps.....How about a Dakota.....the possibilities are endless.

Thank you, please enjoy our photos taken by our on site photographer Martin Keen.

Our thanks go to-
