Martin CE250 runs for the first time during its overhaul.
The Martin CE250 turret was rotated on its electric motors for the first time today durings its overhaul. There is still more work to be done and more overhauled parts to be fitted back on the turret before it can be displayed on an interactive 'push button' displays. The eventual aim is to have the turret fitted to the Lancaster for flight.
Electrics have been wired by Dave Willey and the ongoing restoration of the turret is by Bob Mitchell. A short video can be found here-
