The May day bank holiday this year brought a change of date for the yearly Large Model Association air show. The change proved very beneficial for the modellers who had to cut short their visit to us in Easter 2012 due to the very bad weather conditions. This May the weather was hot and sunny.
The star of the show has to be the 20ft Vulcan, this staggeringly huge model was very imposing in the sky but you could only get a real sense of it's size when on the ground, a great photo on the Silksheen photography website (link below) gives some perspective of this.
