Lancaster NX611 Return to flight?

Merlin overhaul number 5

We have just been down to EyeTech Engineering for an update on the progress of our fifth airworthy Merlin engine.
This particular engine started life as a Merlin 24, was modified to be a Merlin 35 and we are now having it overhauled for airworthy condition and back to a Merlin 24 modification state.

This engine was recovered out of a scrap yard by Bob Cherry and purchased by the LAHC in 2012, its story can be found HERE
