Merlin engine bearers
We sourced 3 sets of engine bearers back in 2010 but under NDT inspection the internal corrosion was deemed to be too deep so we needed to think of another solution to get a new set of bearers. Of course we still have the sets fitted to NX611 which we still need to NDT but it is expected that we will discover similar corrosion therefore reducing their life.
We have just ordered the production of CAD drawings of the bearers to enable us to produce brand new CAA certified Lancaster Merlin engine bearers! But of course this all comes at a price!!
