Members of the Large Model Association display their huge models at East Kirkby for a 4th year.
This annual event took place on the 3rd and 5th of May and saw the Large Model association show case some of their largest and most impressive models to date.
The weather on Saturday 3rd was glorious and perfect flying conditions for the models all topped off with passes from the BBMF Mk XIX Spitfire and taxy runs by Avro Lancaster NX611.
On Monday 5th the weather became overcast and a breeze led to more difficult conditions for the modellers but it was of no detriment to the show. The crowds were treated to a flypast from Avro Lancaster PA474 of the BBMF, taking the place of the unserviceable Dakota which was originally allocated to the event.
