Monday 27th August- Props and Pistons

'Props and Pistons'

This extremely popular event held with Bush Tyres, Bridgestone and ZR Tyres lincoln in aid of Leukemia and Lymphoma Research bring a huge variety of exotic and vintage cars to the Centre along with some major UK Warbirds. Have a look at the links below to see the activites and aircraft attending on the day.

Gates open at 9.30am and tickets can be bought on the day.

Gold and Silver Supporters FREE

There will be a raffle for a chance to win a ride on the Lancaster at just £2.00 for a strip of tickets.

From 10am Chris Ward, Bomber Command historian and author will be launching his 75(NZ) Squadron Profile from the hangar on this day and will have signed copies for sale.  

Also depending on the weather there will be some airfield tours on the vintage Queen Mary vehicle lasting approx 30 minutes and priced at £3 per adult.
