Visitor
information and COVID 19 safety
The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre is based on several acres of the old airfield of RAF East Kirkby. By the very nature of the site there is a lot of open space outside and the main hangar is a spacious building with great air flow enabling us to open the Centre safely and with a friendly environment.
Visitor Numbers
Our site capacity requires you to buy a ticket and book your day before you attend, the tickets can be booked HERE
Any members of the Just Jane Supporters Association should contact the Centre by email or phone to reserve their visit.
Car Parking
Our car park is free and we have a large car park for the permitted numbers on site during this period. There is no booking required for the car park, just park up and make your way to the entrance.
How are we protecting you around the site?
Hand cleaning facilities
We have several hand sanitising stations around the site. While on site we would encourage you to wash and sanitise your hands at all given opportunities both for your safety and others around you.
The NAAFI
The
NAAFI including the Cafe and Shop have changed in layout to conform with the
current social distancing guidelines.
Our shop now has a one-way system and the Cafe seating is spaced to allow for
social distancing. Our site has blue
and white or yellow markings denoting any distancing or one-way systems.
We have sneeze screens at our customer/staff interaction points and we
encourage face coverings for those who can wear them.
We have the facility take card payments at all of our tills so we would request that you use contactless card payments as much as possible.
We do have catering facilities open offering hot and cold drinks and pre-packaged food to allow you to eat anywhere outside on the site or in our Cafe. When you purchase a ticket we ask you to let us know if you will be planning to eat at our Cafe.
