Large Model Airshow 2010 & Book Signings

Large Model Airshow showcasing the amazing models and flying skills of the LMA.  Models ranging from the Comet through to Lancasters.

The event will be held on the 3rd and 5th April 2010 with model flying and Avro Lancaster taxy runs on both days.

This event gives you the chance to see the sight of some of the rarest aircraft in the world taking to the skies, just in miniture.  They are flown to such a high standard that they appear to be the real thing!

There will be many large models and trade stands for the event giving you the perfect opportunity to start a model flying hobby.

There will also be two book signings taking place at the Centre over this weekend.  Kenneth Ballantyne will be joining us for his first book signing at the Centre.  His book "Another Dawn Another Dusk" is the true story of Trevor Bowyer DFC ISM, a veteran rear gunner in Bomber Command during World War Two. 

Douglas Hudson will also be signing his new book "Just Douglas" for the first time at the Centre.
