Behind the scenes tour
Our guide Peter Parnham will take you on a tour of the exterior of Lancaster Bomber NX611 to give you a little more insight into one of the greatest aircraft the world has ever seen. Tours meet in the hangar in front of the aircraft at 1pm. He will then take you on into our dispersal display to have a look at the kit worn by Bomber Command and the bombs they used. Stop and talk to our engineers Keith and Bob about the work they are doing on the
Peter will then take you to the Hampden Restoration exhibition to introduce you to Tim Stone, one of those working on the Hampden restoration project for a closer look at their work.
