The Ground Crew and Fire crew
Ground Crew
Pat Ellis and Bill Parsons
Part of our dedicated weekly ground crew Bill and Pat are an essential part of our team. They assist with the ground running and taxiing of the Lancaster acting as marshals and fuel primers.
The Fire crew
We are supported at the Centre by a group of firemen headed by Steve Shirley currently stationed at RAF Cottesmore. They provide the fire cover for all of the Lancaster taxy runs and most importantly for the flying displays and air shows that we hold. We are extremely grateful for their presence; enabling the Centre to improve its events year on year.
